Sorry, I know this was specifically about the R&B portion of the site but, unfortunately this is a more technical question about the site in general. I did notice some of your site (the homepage for one) is quite interestingly laid out, with shadows, cornered boxes etc.
So, which ediotor are you using to get those effects. Are you using the block editor or have you transferred to the block editor that was introduced in a fairly recent release of WordPress? Would be interested in your thoughts as I still can’t be persuaded to move away from the classic editor.
Many thanks
Julia
Hello Julia
Thanks for your completely off-topic question – I am undecided about your redemption. But as the Q&A response generally has been so underwhelming, I will reply 🙂
The short answer is yes, I moved to the block editor. Not without a sense of trepidation, as the classic editor has served me well since I first installed and used WordPress. The site front page was the point of conversion. I couldn’t simply convert to the new editor, so I rebuilt it from scratch. In so doing I learned a lot and realised that, in many ways, it was a more powerful beast. I made the decision to leave the site alone and use the block editor only for moving forward (from 2022 onwards). All future postings will be with the block editor and, as long as I don’t edit the history, all should be fine. Then again, I used and swore blind that the public domain release of “Movable Type” was the superior content management system and where did that get me!!
