Grump, Grump, Grump!!!

Yesterday, popped down to London and appeared to be irritated by almost everything and everybody.  Tolerance at low ebb, especially for people with limitless personal freedom and no reponsibilities.

Rude people on the train (just can’t live without checking mobile every 60 seconds, think I’ll just wipe my dirty shoes all over the seat someone will soon have to sit on, must have paid for three seats because I certainly intend to cover them all with my stuff while other people stand etc. etc.), Rude people on the streets, speaking of which……

Unfortunately found myself walking down London’s Oxford Street in the afternoon and had forgotten what a dump it is. Hopefully, it’ll be a cold day in hell before I need to go back there! Fortunately, wandered into the National Gallery early evening to find excellent free jazz concert underway and saw just a little fraction of what the capital city does best; important to remember the excellence still on offer and accept the rest is just the price you have to pay.

Definitely less and less tolerant as the ageing process goes remorselessly on!
