Or, alternatively, another mid week break, this time back to the Wentworth in Aldeburgh for another two nighter. On this occasion, opted for a sea view room – very pleasant but, on a purely personal note, prefer the walk in shower to bath with shower over arrangement. Worked fine though.
Basically, same set up as before/ Had a wander around the town, had a beer, did a little shopping, coffee and cake and then back to the hotel for evening meal. Second day, long(ish) walk in the morning, afternoon visit to the cinema (Death on the Nile, underwhelming but not as bad as indicated by the jaundiced reviews) followed by pizza at the town’s only ‘chain’ restaurant. A final breakfast the next day and then coffee and papers in the lounge before the short journey home. Reads surprisingly boringly but it’s anything but!!!
