League One and Then Where?

Can hardly bring myself to discuss this. Shambolic from the start of the season to the depressingly predictable conclusion.

Four managers, each one as bad as the last and the sacking of Adams, whilst in some way justifiable, is also entirely in keeping with the poor way in which the club has been managed for the last four years. It wouldn’t be so bad if the club were to try and attract a manager of some potential and/or experience – there are plenty available at the moment. They might not want to come (although we always sell ourselves as a relatively big club) but the saddest and biggest indictment of current thinking is that we probably won’t even try. No ambition, so the appointment will be governed entirely by cost.

I can remember the desperate days languishing in the old Division 4. It’s hard to stay positive when the omens are so poor, but a good managerial appointment will give cause for optimism. So, watch this space….
