A Primer without Muddy Waters….cmon now!!!! Got to be one of the leading lights, right from his Chess heyday right though to his 60s re-emergence. For that matter, no John Lee Hooker, Elmore James or Jimmy Reed.

Methinks the author of this “question” may have misunderstood somewhat. This is an R&B Primer…..not sure if the question posed is about the site or the booklet but in the case of the latter they are all assuredly given their due as ‘original greats’. But no, they are certainly not my favourite rhythm and blues performers!
